Have some questions?

Do I have to do an on site
estimate or can I do it over
email?

While we can give you a rough estimate over email, an onsite visit is always the best way to go. With an on site estimate we can see your floor and correctly asses it, measure up the square footage & discuss any extra's you may be looking for. It also allows us to meet you in person and get to know you before job start. Our team highly values the relationships build with our clients.

How far out are you booking?

How far out we are booking is very dependent on the scope of your job. Curious about timelines? Reach out today and we will be able to let you know rough dates.

How far out of town do you service?

We have done jobs in Edmonton and all surrounding communities, including northern Alberta and certain area's of British Columbia. For out of town jobs, travel allowance and accommodations are added to the quote and we are fully transparent about all of those details with your estimate.

Can you match your stains to our exact hardwood?

Unfortunately no, we cannot match 100%. However, we can aim to get it as close as possible. When it comes to the staining portion of your job, we will provide three 1'x1' samples on your floor of 3 different shades / tones of the color you are looking at to choose from. This allows you to see the color across multiple boards and get a good idea of what the floor will look like. This is especially helpful if you have a floor with a lot of character in it.

Do you do repair work?

We can do some repair work, as long as it ties in with the scope of your project ( ei. A board replacement). Everyday service work though we do not do.

Can we do a buff & recoat rather then a full sand & refinish?

Yes & No. The floor has to be in a certain condition to just buff and not sand it. When we sand it, we use 2-3 different sand grits and go over the floor multiple times to get out any existing damage and scratches. With the buff, we go over it considerably less and it will not take out any existing damages or scratches so the floor has to be in close to good condition for a buff. Our team will be able to asses on site what will work best for your home.

What products do you use on your floors?

We strictly only use BONA products on our floors as they are fully certified for all things Hardwood and flooring. We have been using their products for 20 years and they have proven time after time to be the best and safest products out there. BONA is also Greengaurd Certified which is important to us - especially when working in residential homes.

What makes you stand out from other companies?

Easy. The answer is Education. We understand that home renovation are not to be taken lightly - especially when it comes to your floor. It is part of our mission to provide you with as much education about the process and the flooring industry as possible. As the homeowner, you should know exactly what the material is that you either currently have or are looking to put into your home, all of it's specs, the pro's and cons, how to take care of it, things to watch for, the list goes on and on.

Can I refinish my stairs?

Yes & no. The treads can be refinished but the risers, capping and stringers cannot. These are usually made out of other material such as veneers that cannot be sanded down and are extremely thin. You have two options in that case. 1) Replace them with raw and we will stain them for you or 2) Bring in a painter and have them painted.
